Attention Patrick Henry 8th Graders - On Wednesday, November 13 from 4:00-5:30, the PBL Academy is hosting an Open House at Jefferson High School. If you’re interested in this option for high school, make sure you attend! Project based learning (PBL) is a method of instruction focused on building graduates with skills in Collaboration, Creativity, Real World Connection, Project Management and Public Speaking. Students enjoyed themselves at the Patrick Henry Dance last Friday! Time with friends, dancing, pizza and pop made for a fun evening! Thank you to the PH Student Council for sponsoring this event!
During Red Ribbon Week, students and staff had fun with dress-up days and decorating doors to bring awareness to choosing a Drug-Free life! The doors pictured are the winners of Door Wars!

Reminders:
- Students must have purchased a ticket last week from their PRO teacher - they will receive their ticket during PRO on Friday morning.
- Students will need their Student IDs to get in.
- Extra slices of pizza will be $1.00
- Students should have a ride arranged to pick them up at 5:30!
We are excited to share that PHMS had 100% staff participation in the United Way Campaign this year! To celebrate, staff were treated to donuts this morning! Way to Go, PHMS staff! 👏🎉🍩

Patrick Henry is celebrating Red Ribbon Week this week, October 28-November 1. Red Ribbon week is a national program that promotes a drug-free environment in our schools. This year's theme is “Life is a Movie. Film Drug Free.” Along with dress-up days, students in Directed Studies classrooms are also decorating doors to fit the theme!
Tonight is the night! Head to B & G Milky Way on 69th and Cliff between 4:00-6:00 for supper and support the Patrick Henry PTO!
